Whirl Wind Weekend!!

This is Charly. She is our church grand. She is so darling and we couldn't miss her 1st birthday. Happy Birthday, Charly.

Elijah is opening his Dallas Cowboy helmet and uniform. But he really just wanted a Thomas the Train Engine. We decided he should have opened Thomas last because that was it. Nothing else mattered..... Not even the COWBOYS!!!!!!!!

This is the back of the lodge where the retreat was held. The Paulxy River is just a few feet to the right of this picture. It is so peaceful and quiet there. I hated to leave, but .... grands always take over as far as this Mimi is concerned.

This past weekend was a whirlwind: Bible retreat, 2 birthday parties, and plenty of travel fun. Mother had wanted me to attend the Western Hills Ladies Retreat in Glen Rose. That was great, then we found out Elijah's birthday party would be in Stephenville. Well that was great, too. We would be only 30 minutes away, then our church grand baby (aka Charly Bennett) also was having a birthday her 1st. So there was alot of traveling to do. So I set out to try to make every single event scheduled. Here are a few pictures from all of this.....
