The last three weeks I have had camera trouble or no camera. I forgot my camera at Brad and Amy's a few weeks ago. Then Amy was going to bring it Father's Day weekend but when she found Brooklyn with it sitting on the bed and the camera strap around her neck ( B. knew what to do) Amy thought she had better put it up. Well "out of sight out of mind" Amy's words, so hopefully I will get it back this weekend, just in time for July 4th. But I have missed alot of pictures. 1. Father's Day 2. Amy's homemade ice cream 3. Trip to Kilgore to see Dee 4. Hurricane Alex 5. Galveston Reading Conference 6. Hurricane Alex in Galveston.....7. Me in Galveston during the hurricane. Well I was in Galveston and there was some winds and rain. The wind and rain was strong and about 1000 educators trudge through it going from session to session. We would just get in the Convention Center and it would start pouring, then it was time to go over to the San Luis Resort for our next session and it would be blowing sand, rain and strong wind so we would forget about our hair and "fly" over to the San Luis. By the way, I didn't get to stay at the San Luis, but I certainly want to. The cutest guys open the doors for you!!!
I did win a $25 gift card to Border's at the last session. I also ate some great seafood!!! STUFFED Shrimp and some WOW Mexican food with tiny shrimp also a favorite local hangout "Shrimp and Stuff" a shrimp salad Po-Boy. So Shrimp is still great in Galveston.
Hopefully this weekend I can have some great pics of 4th of July celebrations!!!
