New Baby

Brad called early this morning and Brooklyn Paige Ballard is ready to come into this world. I am just waiting by the phone waiting, waiting, waiting to get the call. Grandpa and I are so excited. Frankie is in Tyler so I bet he will sneak away as soon as he can to visit. Keep Amy, Brad, and Brooklyn in your thoughts today.....

Grandchildren

At first I thought I was too young to be a grandmother. I certainly didn't want to be a grandmother!! But now things have changed.... I can't wait until I see Elijah and I am counting the days until Brooklyn is born. It is a whole different story now. My friend Dee told me I would feel different when it finally happened and I agree I do. Recently I kept Elijah for a few days, he is so smart, wonderful, cute, the best boy ever, and whatever else I can thing about. I know Brooklyn will be just as wonderful. Looking back in time on my own children, I didn't have time to savor all the moments. I worked all the time they grew up and Frankie was busy at work. So alot of time the simple things that I want my children to notice with their children I didn't do. I know today's fathers are more "hands on" this is so important.
