Showboat Branson

I wanted to do something we had not done before..... So we went on the Branson Bell. It is a river showboat. We had dinner and a wonderful variety show. We sat next to these wonderful people from Lubbock. Of course I started talking to them.... He is a preacher for a Church of Christ in Lubbock. He had a stroke in November and has had to step down from preaching now. He is only 49. I hated to see such a young man having such a struggle. They had two boys in college. They were very nice. We think they know some folks in Rosebud. The show was great and the cruise on the lake was wonderful.

No Pictures

I have no pictures to show because I was trying to delete some and ended up deleting all files. So no pictures today..... But we did go to the Pea Ridge Battlefield. I have just wanted to stop at the Civil War Memorial for more years than I can remember. Well finally Frankie stopped. He is up for "Husband of the Decade"..... It was a very moving story of the battle. The Confederates thought they had seized the battle, but forgot one minor detail.... they did not bring enough ammo.... So you guessed it! The Union won.... But it was a very beautiful battlefield, with many cannons still in place and you might actually invision the battle.
Tonight we did the usual The Baldknobbers. It was very funny as usual.... Frankie enjoyed it.... Hopefully I can remember not to delete something tomorrow...
