CHRISTMAS VACATION
FROM 10,000 FEET TO BELOW SEA LEVEL
This Christmas saw alot of changes to our family. The "Grands" are quite ready to know all about Christmas. They were really excited about their presents. Here are a few pictures showing what went on during 2 busy weeks.

Sadie is so darling opening her gifts from Sharon and Tim. This singing bear was so funny. She needs a couple more to make them harmonize!!!

Elijah looking so cool in his 3-D glasses. Good thing we won't have to rent them at the movies.

Brooklyn is checking out those famous pears from Mamaw!!!
Well, Crystal moved to Corpus during the holidays. We packed her up the day after Christmas and headed out on Monday. She and I stayed until Thursday to set things up. She didn't have electricity at first but by Wednesday afternoon it was on. She already has a job working at the school for the history department. I will miss her and my weekly trips to Temple will be different, but I know she is happy and doing great at her new place and school.

The black book case was a bugger boooo.... if Brad had not given in and helped us we would still be looking at the directions.

Well, 10,000 ft above sea level, was alot of fun. We certainly enjoyed the cool weather and plenty of snow. Here is a beautiful sleigh made by the Amish. We really enjoyed an old fashion ride through a Winter Wonderland.

I did ski and throughly enjoyed it, but no pictures. Brad had the camera ready to take one, but I just went down the Bunny Slope. So he didn't get a picture of that. Here I just got up from the snow tubing. Now that was fun!! Streaking down a ice covered hill going about 30 miles an hour and then hitting a break in the ice and flying up off the tube--- nothing held back.

This picture was after several tries at sledding. She would have nothing to do with tubing and cried all the way down, but then she realized this was more her speed.

This picture shows the hill was very steep. The little specks in the background are people. In the foreground is the edge of the hill.
Amy, Brad and I all skiied and went tubing. Frankie didn't do any of these activities but he hurt his foot. Just walking on the snow!!! What a baby!!! Brooklyn would doctor his foot every night and he kept it propped up most of the time.
We had a great Christmas Vacation from the high mountains to the ocean. We marveled at God's creation from the highest peak to the calming waters on the Gulf. God granted us safe travel, good fellowship with family, and a glimpse at all his wonders.
Frankie and I hope you have a healthy and happy New Year. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family. We are thankful for his blessings of wonderful children, grandchildren and great family members and friends this year.
