Beach House

We have talked and thought for years about getting a house down on the coast. Since Crystal is now there we thought she could live in a house and pay us rent instead of someone else. So we did it. Crystal loved her apartment we found back in November, but it all fell into place for us to buy this place and so with the help of Kevin, Francene, Caleb, and Jacob plus Frankie they moved her to the new place. Here are a few shots of the house. It is not exactly on the beach, and you can't exactly see the water, and you can't exactly hear the water, but it is 3 blocks from Laguana Madre Inlet in Corpus. There is alot of wind which usually means water is near by and ever once in awhile you can get a drift of that great smell!!!NOT... that means water is near. The picture above is a little store room. It could hold some bunk beds, but now it holds tools.

Crystal and Francene found this absolutely great table. The furniture place knows Frankie by his first name. I think they shutter when they see his truck pull up!!! Those who know how Frankie loves to haggle will know what I mean!!

We looked and looked for patio furniture, finally settled on these two chairs. Not really what we wanted, but will just have to wait. Or until Frankie checks craigslist again!!

The front of the house. Not real fond of the lavender paint, but that will change too just not sure when. Frankie parked the boat in the front yard so the house will blend in with all the others!! I think this place will get alot of use. They boys love fishing and can start taking their families down to experience the wonders of the beach. I went out in the boat on Tuesday, and read my book. Crystal and Frankie fished and caught several. I enjoy going, but not fishing.
